Public bug reported: Binary package hint: userconfig
** Bug Reproduction ** Create a new group. While still in the user management control module, select an existing user and try to change that user's primary group to the newly created group. You will see that the newly created group is not on the drop-down list. The group will only be selectable after exiting and re-entering the user management control module. ** My System ** Motherboard: MSI K9N SLI Platinum (nForce 570 SLI chipset) CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 4000+ (2.6 GHz) RAM: 2GB DDR2 Video: Dell NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX w/ 256 MB RAM (PCI Express) OS: Kubuntu 10.04 i386 w/ KDE 4.4.3 (installed from Kubuntu PPA) Linux Kernel: 2.6.32-22-lowlatency NVIDIA driver: 195.36.15 Screen Resolution: 1280 x 960 X.org: 7.5 Qt: 4.6.2 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: userconfig 0.9.0-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.33-lowlatency 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-lowlatency i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Mon May 24 04:42:37 2010 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100427) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: userconfig ** Affects: userconfig (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- kubuntu userconfig cannot select newly created group as primary group https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584874 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
