Alejandro,

Depending on how many versions of the package that your computer has,
you can use the Synaptic Package Manager to force your computer to use
a particular version. From within Synaptic, you find the name of the
package and select it. Then you press Ctrl-E to "Force Version" (or you
can go to "Force Version" under "Package" up in the toolbar menu).
Hopefully, you can select an older version of the package this way.

If anyone knows a better way, that would be great.
