Alejandro, Depending on how many versions of the package that your computer has, you can use the Synaptic Package Manager to force your computer to use a particular version. From within Synaptic, you find the name of the package and select it. Then you press Ctrl-E to "Force Version" (or you can go to "Force Version" under "Package" up in the toolbar menu). Hopefully, you can select an older version of the package this way.
