I can confirm that the bug also occurs for me. Toggling off the wireless using Fn+F2 on my eeePC 701SD causes Ubuntu Lucid (standard desktop edition) to hang and I need to hard reset the machine to use it again. Toggling on the wireless is not a problem as far as I can tell.
