Hello, i believe this problem may have been rejected too soon first of all, the kernel version i had was due to the installation of xen. but, the bug here occurred much before i ever installed xen, that is with the kernel version 2.6.20.
to support that, i am now on a fresh install of feisty beta. i just validated and my kernel is 2.6.20.: $ dpkg -l '*2.6.19*' No packages found matching *2.6.19*.
