Hi, According to lm-sensors, this is a bug due to the 2.6.31 kernel with some asus mobos : http://www.lm- sensors.org/wiki/FAQ/Chapter3#Mysensorshavestoppedworkinginkernel2.6.31
There are two ways to fix that : - The "bad" way : Add the "acpi_enforce_resources=lax" option to the kernel (grub.cfg) - The "clean" way : Add asus_atk0110 module to /etc/modules Both fix worked for me but i am experiencing now another bug with pwmconfig : it reads fine the speed of fans, but it is impossible to set the speed. -- Don't work CPU fan cooling at TOSHIBA satellite U505-S2925BN in the Ubuntu 10.04 beta1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
