This one's a showstopper for me; I had an old OSS-based program that was
running at about 10% CPU on Karmic (in padsp); upgraded to Lucid a
couple of days back and now the same program is at about 70% CPU. Using
aoss has the same results, and pasuspender is not an option because I'm
routing the audio to a specific sink. Playback is fine, just the CPU
usage is way too high - is there at least a workaround for this?
