I can confirm and reproduce this bug on Lucid 32bit. 1. Boot Ubuntu 2. Insert DVD 3. Remove DVD by pushing the hardware button on the DVD-ROM 4. Inserting another DVD triggers the bug. I can get rid of it by restarting Ubuntu
If I click on the eject-Button in Nautilus instead the hardware button, everything works fine.
