Might affect me too. Not sure about the mplayer part but it crashes when I go to this site: http://www.mathe-online.at/galerie/log/n_EulerscheZahl.html I have noscript active and when I click on the Java app Firefox closes unexpectedly. Dunno if it works with scripts turned on but I don't know and can't try now.
