Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

This is on a fresh install of Kubuntu 10.04.

I add a launcher to the desktop by right clicking on the item in the
menu and choosing "Add to Desktop". I right click on the launcher on the
desktop and choose "Icon Settings". I make a change to the Item -
initially I was trying to rename a Firefox launcher but the field being
changed doesn't seem important, it's the act of resaving that causes the
problems.

The resaved icon will be missing an icon. This will also effect the
source icon on the menu, additionally the source icon will have been
moved to "Lost and Found". I have tried this with several icons -
Firefox, Thunderbird, XChat, Krusader and the same behaviour is
exhibited with them all.

The newly saved .desktop files mention [en_gb] which is indeed the
machine's locale but I don't remember seeing this in these files on
previous versions of Kubuntu.

** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
