Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

I noticed recently that whenever I start banshee the play queue reverts
back to what it was before I shut down. Apparently when logging out,
banshee doesn't update the stored play queue settings cleanly. If I
manually quit and then start banshee, it does save the current state of
the play queue, which is what is getting restored whenever I quit
banshee by simply logging out of gnome.

I believe banshee is probably not shutting down cleanly when logging out
and doesn't manage to write out the current state of the play queue when
killing it this way.
