Installing gnomebaker gives me the following error:

Untrusted packages could compromise your system's security.
You should only proceed with the installation if you are certain that
this is what you want to do.

So that means for me that substituting a bug for system security is a no
go situation.

I also agree that this is a part of basic system so its like the old
joke of M$ not working and now the Win users are laughing at us. The
joke is on us this time.

I think that gnome has a better footing (at least with me) so getting a
k3b working equivalent would be awesome.
