I just noticed today that I am getting a USB error message during boot
with Lucid:

"hub 1-0.1-0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2."

This is not happening with Karmic (I just confirmed this with my Karmic
Liveboot CD), but it is happening with both my Lucid Liveboot CD as
well as my Lucid HD installation upgraded from Karmic.

The scanner is connected via USB, and still works flawlessly with Karmic
(from liveboot CD).

I am somewhat puzzled as to why no one else seems to be paying attention
to this bug - I consider this a serious regression issue...
