Public bug reported: When the last update with update-manager finish I receive this error message:
Configuring linux-image-2.6.32-22-generic (2.6.32-22.36) ... Running depmod. update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-22-generic ERROR lilo fails for new /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-22-generic: Warning: LBA32 addressing assumed Unrecognized token "splash" at or above line 116 in file '/etc/lilo.conf' Failed to create initrd image. And the dpkg stop with error code 2. After this error, in lilo menu I can only start with LinuxOLD option. When I try to boot with the new kernel, LILO stops in "Loading Linux" screen.
