Very possible, Speaking from experience. By this I have had personally had owned over 29 laptop computer. Everything from NCR to Panasonic. I have noticed on Panasonic Toughbooks and select Dell laptops there are plenty of issues with compatibility. I currently am running a Dell 1545 Inspiron.
