I have replied to one of your previous automatic messages but never received a reply. I am a new user to Linux and have tried to read and understand your link. I am still confused as to what is considered an upstream kernel. Also I can't figure out the mapping of what is considered the proper version to choose with relation to the stock kernel. It appears the mapping selects a kernel from back in August of last year as the correct one that maps to my stock kernel from April 2010 of this year. This makes no sense to me.
