Hi all, you can count me as one user affected by the bug: I own a Panasonic NV- GS22 (a cheap, quite diffused camcorder) and I had to follow the comment/uncomment + update-initrams path, with some success in Ubuntu Lucid. However, I still cannot control my camcorder from the PC --- I start playback manually --- and sometimes the stream is not captured at all. Which was working perfectly in a previous Ubuntu release. I'll be happy to be more precise, if this is of interest in this forum, but I can survive in the current situation.
