I managed to boot the hard drive following these steps: Boot Live CD Mount the hard drive (I did on mount point /a) Reinstall Grub on it # grub-install --root-directory=/a /dev/sda
Upon doing that I can boot vmlinuz-2.6.32-21-generic. But I still have this bug with vmlinuz-2.6.32-22-generic, that's something we can work with, I'll attach my /boot/grub/grub.cfg -- Cannot boot 10.04 with "(process:325): GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (0)" error. Was working at one point. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/590999 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
