It is likely that this bug also affects me on a Latitude E4310 (same CPU/video card). My symptom is that the video does not turn on on resume. Anyway, I can switch to a console (ctrl+alt+f1) and then reboot via ctrl+alt+canc.
I also tried upgrading to Maverick, but without any success. With a LiveCD the suspend/resume works only the first time I suspend. The second resume results in a spontaneous reboot.
