In Ubuntu 10.04 problem fixed by untranslation of output (for help translation keeped). Current state of ifconfig translation is fully acceptable for me.
AsstZD, as you know "ВВЕРХ" is a verbatim translation of "UP" (in Russian meaning of this word is direction only). Standard jargonsm is "ПОДНЯТ". Official translations can be "АКТИВЕН". Do you really think, that this SYSTEM tool should be translated? Then, please translate "Bcast", "MTU", "RX", "TX", "encap". Or you want translate only part of output? This tool is used in scripts. Not all scripts sets LC_ALL variable to guarantee output language. What you think about it?
