  Binary package hint: cheese
  
  Cheese can record videos. but it gets choppy and stutters for me after a
  few minutes of recording (approximately 2 and half minutes). Once it
  reaches this stage, it will not create the temporary video or a preview
  for the temporary video. Trying to play the video will often times work
  properly until the choppiness, kicks in.
  
   I only use 640x480 mode.
