Why is this won't fix for firefox and invalid for openoffice? It's definitely broken in the default ubuntu 10.04 configuration, and it's a frustrating UI inconsistency. Firefox and openoffice don't behave like other applications (nautilus and gedit, for example). Maybe I misunderstood the upstream bugs, but it sounded like the problem couldn't be fixed in firefox without changing the firefox code...
