Almost two weeks since the last comment, the status of this bug remains
'Incomplete'.

It would be good to know what tests are needed to make it 'Complete'.
Presumably someone maintaining the packages may hold a clue as to what
to look at?

Unfortunately our machine has now had to go into production mode using
the -generic kernel package so we cannot use it for testing, and we're
certainly not going to switch to the -server package without good
reason.
