Facing similar problem which I was posted yesterday at <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/595430";>bug 595430</a>, and Mr. Omer Akram suggested me to keep tuned here for further updates... And morever My twitter feed nor friend feed's feed displaying as I've added those accounts in my Gwibber on lucid, bug data can be found at the above bug link! (In jaunty there was no problem, but in lucid, gwibber is seamlessly looking "dead" for me!)
