I was experiencing this bug in Karmic (incorrectly themed volume icon in the Indicator Applet). I was finally able to resolve the issue by simply removing both the "Indicator Applet Session 0.3.7" and the "Indicator Applet 0.3.7" and then adding them back. Removing just the Indicator Applet and adding it back did not fix.
