** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: cups

After upgrading cups it fails to print because of wrong permissions.
This bug might be related to following problems:

  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=585153
  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=586324

However instead of the above reports I have no cups-pdf installed.

  Following statement fixed the problem:

  chmod go+rx /usr/lib/cups/backend

The error logfile looks like this:

  D [20/Jun/2010:18:57:39 +0200] [Job 159] Backend returned status 22 (unknown)
  D [20/Jun/2010:18:57:39 +0200] [Job 159] End of messages
  D [20/Jun/2010:18:57:39 +0200] [Job 159] printer-state=3(idle)
  D [20/Jun/2010:18:57:39 +0200] [Job 159]
printer-state-message="/usr/lib/cups/backend/socket failed"
  D [20/Jun/2010:18:57:39 +0200] [Job 159] printer-state-reasons=none

- Probably it is worth to include the fix into the postint function. (This was
suggested by the Debian team for one of the above).
