As I have no idea what to do to get a backtrace I googled and found this site: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace I tried the steps in "Generation" on that page but that does not work. Symptoms like in this post https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/me-tv/+bug/395430/comments/5 appear. So I am following your advice in your comment below on that page (enable apport). Hopefully that does help :-)
If something else should be done instead please tell me. So long I will try it as descriped above. Could take a while as the segfault happens to me yesterday once and today a second time but I don't know how to provoke it (except running me TV in fullscreen).
