I have similar symptoms as Kris969. I also think it would be good to assign a somewhat higher priority to this bug because of this freeze.
Here are my symptoms: - The system seems to freeze, although "top" from the command line still works and shows just a few % CPU usage. - The Workspace Switcher needs 10 to 20 seconds to switch between workspaces.
