Jerther: Doh, sorry for posting many times. But, I want you to try (with your current setup) to go back to stereo mode in the control panel and see if it works once again, after having switched to 5.1. All with my patch in there. So make sure it is consistently reproducible it is *5.1 mode during my path* that breaks the sound output.
