Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
in gnome-system-monitor the tab process doesn't update the status of open process all the process other then gnome-system-monitor itself are in sleep or old status I'm not sure because I'm translating it from Hebrew and in Hebrew you right sleep and old in the same way so check it in English OS. As for cpu and memory it also doesn't change everything all are in 0% and the memory stays excecly as it was when the software was activated it doesn't resemble top or windows task manager in any state it is just an almost static process tab and it shouldn't be like this. As you can see in this picture the processor tab is all zero, the status tab is all sleep or old and the memory never change. http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/565/83654684.png ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: gnome-system-monitor 2.28.1-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-6.7-generic 2.6.35-rc3 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-6-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Jun 28 08:27:19 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Alpha i386 (20100613) ProcEnviron: LANG=he_IL.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-system-monitor ** Affects: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- Tab process don't update status, memory or cpu of open process https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/599233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
