Public bug reported: I am using an Atheros AR928X wireless network card on a Toshiba Satellite U405D-S2874 model laptop, running Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. Recently, for the first time, I put the computer into suspend. The computer failed to wake from suspend, and I was forced to do a hard reboot. Upon restarting Ubuntu, I quickly realized that the network manager had not started. Normally, it starts shortly after logging in, and promptly connects to my wireless network. It failed to start, even after various attempts to start it. After running through every help file I could find on the topic, and submitting a question to launchpad, nothing has worked to fix it.
