I would like to know if this is something that is being worked on. I don't know how to fix this loop myself and it seems I do not understand where to start for a solution. If I knew where to look, I might could help. Right now - my computer is still downgraded to ubuntu 9.10. The upgrade still will NOT work. The clean re-load is all good fun until I reboot and the login loop rebegins again. arg.
