I'm sorry but I don't have the software or the skill to find what package is causing the problem. Could it be in the kernel? I have done a lot of web searching and read the above linked page but found no relevant details of automounting in Lucid. In searching, I see that many people have a similar problem, but no solution or knowledge of what "package" needs to be fixed. I have no "gnome-mount" on this machine as far as I can tell and I cannot find it when I search the package list so am unable to install it. Also, perhaps this is the wrong place to mention Ubuntu Server and I am out of line reporting this (assumed) bug here. I apologize if that is the case. :)
