And it's still not working in 10.04, the fscache module is loaded but
since no filesystems actually uses fscache it is not working.

r...@mon-lb-test:/boot# grep -y fscache config-2.6.32-22-server
CONFIG_FSCACHE=m
# CONFIG_FSCACHE_STATS is not set
# CONFIG_FSCACHE_HISTOGRAM is not set
# CONFIG_FSCACHE_DEBUG is not set
# CONFIG_FSCACHE_OBJECT_LIST is not set
# CONFIG_NFS_FSCACHE is not set
# CONFIG_AFS_FSCACHE is not set
# CONFIG_9P_FSCACHE is not set

I have this filesystem mountet wiith the fsc option
192.168.42.9:/vol/monfoo on /disk1 type nfs (rw,fsc,addr=192.168.42.9)

but no fscache:
r...@mon-lb-test:/boot# cat /proc/fs/nfsfs/volumes
NV SERVER PORT DEV FSID FSC
v3 c0a82a09  801 0:21    193636ae:0        no
