Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Speakers work fine on the netbook. When you plug into the 3.5 headphone jack, the speakers are muted and no sound come through the headphone. Headphones are know to work with other hardware. Sound does work with USB headset. It doesn't appear to be related to any specific package. I have a need to run a 64bit OS on this system. Ubuntu 10.04 64bit - LTS All latest patches & updates Asus eeePC 1018p Please see attached output of lspci -v and dmesg Thanks in advance.
