Maybe adding "udevplug -W" before the /sbin/dmraid line in the local-top/dmraid script would do the job. Or, inspired by https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UdevLvm, adding a udev rule like: SUBSYSTEM=="block", RUN+="watershed /sbin/dmraid -ay -i"
