Public bug reported: Since upgrading to 10.04 i can't control my output volume correctly. The 'Master Front' channel doesn't change anything in alsamixer. PCM works fine. This might be specific to my soundcard (information should be attached but to be sure: HDA ATI SB, VIA VT1708S) and it seems to be related to [1] (the last section).
