40 deg C Temp1 remained static at 40 deg C Core 0 started at 35 deg C and slowly rose to 90 deg C at which point I quickly copied & pasted the terminal output, and hit RESTART, by which time the temperature had risen to 94 deg C. When my laptop automatically switched on again, about a minute later, the CPU and Temp1 sensors, which had been stuck on 40 deg C, both indicated 85 deg C, as did the Core 0 sensor. However, the cooling fan is now working, and all three temperature gauges have dropped quickly to 55/55/48 in the time it's taken me to type this paragraph. Does any of this help? I really appreciate your help with this problem. Thanks & regards, Tony ___________________________________________________________________ On 10 July 2010 04:06, Leo Arias <y...@elopio.net> wrote: > That's ok. Thanks a lot tonesbox.
