Correction: This is NOT an issue in Ubuntu 10.04. Hovering over the X it says "close note." That is what it should say to be consistent with all other windows. After clicking the user is prompted with a warning: "Delete this note? This action cannot be undone." So in conclusion this bug has been squashed.
