Public bug reported:

When user hibernate (suspend to disk) Ubuntu, any splash or progress bar is 
displayed, the screen just sometimes freeze or sometimes become black until 
hibernate is finally done.
This can confuse the user because he is not sure if hibernate process is going 
on property.
Please add a splash screen or progress bar for hibernate process like other 
distros do (for instance OpenSuse).
