I have tested in the Live and in the Installed versions. If I set the output in the output tab from the sound preferences to "analog output", in the live version the sound is played in both connectors (front and back), but in the installed only in the back. If I set the value to "analog headphones", in the live version the sound is played only in the front connector, but in the installed version, there is no sound in both connectors.
I've also changed the field profile in the hardware tab.
