** Description changed: I'm using testdrive to test the latest maverick ISOs using virtualbox 3.2 as my test environment. I've noticed that from inception to now (post alpha-2), the netbook ISO fails at the point of loading the desktop GUI. I've been unsuccessful in switching to a virtual console in the guest environment to try and look at the logs, so if someone can give me some pointers on doing this I can probably add more information to the bug. I suspect this may be a duplicate, however I searched on launchpad several times for this bug and the search continually timed out. + + Basically the gui starts, but no netbook menu loads, so I'm left with a + blank destop with a mouse cursor (which responds). I can do an ACPI + shutdown and the guest VM responds with a shutdown menu which I can + navigate with the keypad. The system will then shut down.
