*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 84964 *** I still cannot boot my Acer Travelmate 270 laptop with the latest daily builds and the new kernel. It does not have a jMicron controller. The symptoms are the same as those of the jMicron bug, but clearly the cause is different. Is there another bug report that is handling this issue because I've noticed that most bugs related to boot problems are being closed and marked as duplicates of the jMicron one when it is not necessarily the case.
