Your PPD file is for a completely wrong printer model (HP 910). I have exactly the same printer and cannot reproduce your problem. system- config-printer always selects the correct PPD for me, both when connecting the printer to the USB and waiting for the system to create a queue by itself and also when connecting it via the network (WLAN) and creating a queue with "Add printer" in system-config-printer.
Can you tell me how you created the print queue, step by step? Can you also attach the output file of lpinfo -m > ppd-list.txt and post the output of dpkg -l | grep system-config-printer dpkg -l | grep hplip -- Incorrect automatic installation of network printer "HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610521 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
