Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

What works is when I type in the partial name of a contact stored in
evolution, and let the client autofill the best match, and then hit
enter to use whatever selected address (either the first, or by using
another of multiple choices). What does not work is when that same
contact is used by typing in the email address instead of the name. An
example is when sending an email to my wife's work I can just type in
the first few letters of her name, hit enter, and it's good, but when I
type in the first part of her work email, and let the client fill in the
rest and hit enter this happens:

C, ammie Lastname <em...@address.com> --with the cursor placed in the
same position you were at when you were typing, which in this case was
before the first a in the first name.

Interestingly enough though in a new message window it will only do this
the first time. After having it do this once if you select all and re
type in the same few first letters to let the autofill happen and hit
enter it will enter in the address in the proper format, and even place
the type cursor at the end of the address.

This will obviously make the message not get sent correctly, and is a
totally easy thing to fix yourself every time you put in the address,
but I figured I would file a bug on it even though it doesn't really
cause any sort of major functionality issues lol.
