The following is a quote from

"Below are the legacy GPUs that are no longer supported in the unified driver. 
These GPUs will continue to be maintained through the special legacy NVIDIA GPU 
driver releases."

This implies that the 9631 driver _will_ be maintained in the same
fashion as the 7184 legacy driver.

That said, thankyou for the explanation on the other problems with
maintaining this set. You've been a lot more verbose than other people
I've spoken to and have explained and backed up with reasons :)

With the email on -devel mentioning it might be able to fix the broken
upgrades issue I'm happier.
