Georg, this sounds like a different problem in your case. Could you open a new bug with "ubuntu-bug linux"? Also add whether this happens too, if you plug in the headset later. If you can trigger the issue by plugging in later, you might gather some more information by following the following instructions (it is not the same issue but the gathered data might help as well).
