I'm not really sure which package you have reported this bug about.
In Maverick , we hide several developer packages , and I believe you are
referring to one of those packages.
When we search Software Center[Maverick], the only search result for "jackd" is
xjadeo, a video player.
Could you quote the exact text from the description you are referring
to, so that it is easier to identify the package?
