Public bug reported: Binary package hint: apt
This is not precisely an apt bug, but it manifests itself when using apt or any package management tool. On apt-get update or upgrade, I try to connect to http://cl.archive.ubuntu.com/package_path..., obtaining many "Not Found 404" HTTP errors, even for packages and lists. If I edit my /etc/apt/sources.list in order to connect just to archive.ubuntu.com, then everything works OK. It seems like some half-baked mirror on cl.archive.ubuntu.com. Because of this, any machine trying to update from cl.archive.ubuntu.com won't succeed as of two weeks ago.
