Hello, I bought recently the Mac Mini 4.1 (2010 model). It has the same mcp89 SATA controller as MacBookPro 7.1 so I was hoping that solution from this thread will work for me too. I burned latest image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lucid/daily-live but I failed to boot Ubuntu from the live-cd. After about one minute of DVD drive activity my screen just stays black.
Did I miss something ? Do I need to specify some boot-time parameters by hand ?
