Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy
Empathy will start, but it will just hang on a darkened screen, and if I try to close the chat window I just get the prompt that asks to force quit. When I start empathy -h from a terminal the only message I get is this: (empathy:2395): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_dbus_connection_send_message: assertion `error == NULL || *error == NULL' failed ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: empathy 2.31.5.1-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-14.19-generic 2.6.35 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-14-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Aug 6 12:49:23 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: empathy ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- (empathy:2395): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL when trying to load empathy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
